Living a Conscious Evolution with the Integral Yoga

Course Description

This workshop provides an overall Introduction to Sri Aurobindo's and Mother's Integral Yoga, based on specially selected extracts of their writings, and accompanied by simple but specific inner exercises training the participants to make their entire daily life a spiritual process of Conscious Evolution, wherever they live.


Dates and Times

Workshop given whenever asked for.
Total duration 12 hours, spread on six consecutive days by sessions two hours long each (2 to 4 pm for example), or any other way convenient for the group and Bhaga herself.
Starting preferably on a Monday, and ending the following Saturday (or earlier if longer sessions on less days are the choice of the group).


Venue

First session always at Bhaga's place in Repos, and if the group is small enough, the whole workshop can happen there .

Presenter Bio

Citizen of the World by family origins and by birth. Studied at La Sorbonne (Paris), then taught the Classics (French, Latin and Greek Literature) for four years in a poor, immigrants-filled part of France. In 1971, discovered Sri Aurobindo and Mother, and started practicing the Integral Yoga, then joined Auroville in 1972. Spiritual experiences since childhood, starting to bloom again as soon as she settled in Auroville. Opening to Higher Dimensions, together with reactivation of Psychic Being, in 1973; full soul-opening in 1975, followed three years later by a totally unexpected first contact with her body-cells, and those cells' own spiritual awakening a few years after that. That integral evolutive process keeps happening in ever deeper and vaster ways in her, giving her the direct experience needed to communicate what Conscious Evolution is, better than through just knowledge of Sri Aurobindo and Mother's writings.

 

Her life in Auroville has provided her with the required training as well, through a great number of spiritual teaching experiences, not only here, but also in many other parts of the world. She is writing articles and books on the main topics she has been researching in the context of the ‘Laboratory of Evolution', the Centre for Research, Documentation and Teaching about Evolution (including Human Unity), that she founded in1984 and continues to direct.
